I am growing and so too is my world. I started ELM in a very different place, with a very different understanding of this world. Well, thank god, things change, and while it has been the most amazing platform to explore all things artistic over the past few years, it is time to say goodbye. Right now I am waking up to how incredible life really is.
Instead of grappling with the ideology that life's virtues lie in some madness of passion and unending discontent, or someone else, or someone else's life, I am gradually learning that life's virtues are everywhere, if we are only present in this very moment. Letting your imagination run wild can lead to fantastic things, but when you let it breathe for a just a moment, let it slow to a stop, and exist, you realize the fantastic, the improbable, the extraordinary is everywhere you choose to see it. An extraordinary life is within your very bones.
So to move with the times, I am starting a new website, to chronicle the little adventures to be had in Sydney. The secrets, the strange places. It will be more relaxed, and featuring more of you. Anyone else up for a cronut? An underground tunnel? A waterfall? If you're curious, find out what I mean when our website launches at www.sleepnakedlovefreely.com and while we concoct the content, we will be filling up our freshly minted Instagram news feeds: @sleepnakedlovefreely....
So to end it all, thank you for everyone over the years who has read, supported or offered their words and inspiration. And below, is the best lesson I have learnt from these past few years. In the words of Amy Poehler, who says it better than I ever could. You go girlfriend.
"I want to be around people that do things.
I don’t want to be around people anymore that judge or talk about what people do.
I want to be around people that dream and support and do things.”
